Property in Brazil

Rio de Janeiro

Looking out my window this morning at the grey murkiness glowering back at me I thought about how nice it would be to live somewhere that was sunny.

Brazil has a number of advantages over Ireland. They have a football team. They can have a salsa dance class that doesn’t make you gringe at how bad everyone is. They invented the Brazilian . . .

According to Yahoo! Weather the temperature in Rio de Janeiro today was 82 degrees Fahrenheit compared to 50 in Dublin.

I went online to have a look at property prices in Brazil. This is obviously just me wishing rather than me planning but for people with the means a Property in Brazil could be a good option with prices there being up to 70% cheaper than in similar resorts in Europe.

The idea of buying property overseas is a very daunting one, especially for someone doing it for the first time. That why I thought it was interesting that one of the sites I found, Brazil Property is a UK company that specializes in helping their clients find their dream beach property in Brazil.

As an example of what’s out there I found a three bedroom, two bath beach house selling for US$91,473. That’s just under €60,000! It would almost be possible to sell your Irish home to move there and live off what you have left over. If you could get someone to buy your Irish home, that is . . .
